SUMMER time

Having some time off is great.

The busy life of a dedicated teacher has its advantages. Eight weeks worth of advantages.

My plan for this summer was: Draw silly drawings, continuing writing my novel, sing a lot, swim in the ocean, drink a lot of home-made juice, scrapbook a little, buy that necklace i want, and somehow prove that I really do need all those bikinis.

So far I've been sidetracked... whitch kinda suck. Hopefully that's about to change.

Going through emotions...

I think Buffy -the vampire slayer said it best:

I don't want to be...
going through the motions,
loosing all my drive
I can't even see, if this is really me
and i just want to be....
Alive!

Been there, done that, scrapped a page about it.

Its said that a picture is worth 1000 words. A scrapbook page must be worth 10.000 words. There are many joys in life. Scrapbooking is a wonderful way of making sure those joyful memories are kept alive.

Every now and again I take out my scrapbooking works, and take a trip down memory lane. I love scrapbooking. Dont have much time for it these days though. But I know I'll catch a break soon. A friend, who is also a scrapbooker, is coming for a visit next week. We have some trips to scrap :) Papercuts, here we come!

Scrapbooking is stress reducing, and though its expensive, its cheaper than therapy. lol :)

Everyone can scrapbook. Use your creativity and just have fun with it! Not every page has to be a masterpiece.

Remember:
Life is a story. Scrapbook it!

Smack(ed) in the middle with you.

I've heard that money doesn't change you, it just magnifies who you are.

Having too much money usually magnifies a side of ppl that aren't good. The qualities that comes to shove: poor decision making,  rudeness, and this "I'm better than all of you- attitude". Does that mean that humans aren't what we appear to be in social gatherings? That there is this rawness to us? Inner animal? So that's how ppl are? No wonder some of the smartest among us are the once that keeps to themselves.

Fine, but how about the lack of money? Is that the root of all things evil?? Not being able to buy what you want - what you need. We take a lot for granted. At least I know I do.

Money isn't happiness, but the use of it can bring happiness. We need money to create the futures we so desperately want. Each person have a unik plan for their future. Most of us need money for that plan to come alive. What will become of you without the hope of knowing your dreams might come true?

Are you the ass who gets your dream, or the gloomy bastard that gives it up? Too much money? Too little money? We're screwed either way!

Wanna be a middle class citizen struggling to stay in the midst of it all? Taking each day as it comes? Worrying about bills, and the lingering plans of traveling or longingly purchases? Being the hero one day, and the ass or the bastard the next? Hard working, but a big dreamer? Usually content, but with a longing for the future to reveal itself? To be better? Being smacked in the middle of it all? Sweet. Welcome to the world!
