The elephant in the room.

Q: How can you tell that an elephant is in the bathtub with you?
A: By the smell of peanuts on its breath.

I fear that ppl like having that elephant in the room. Frankly, I think we`re used to it. Its not the same without it around. Whats the problem? Does our tiny appartments feel too spacious? Are you lonesome? Do you need someone to talk to? or to listen to you? (elephants does have enormous ears). No one wants to discuss it! Obvious truths and problems are being ignored. A giant elephant would be impossible to overlook. Thus people in the room (who pretend the elephant is not there) have chosen to concern themselves with small/irrelevant issues rather than deal with the big one.

These huge animals doesnt sleep much... is it always wandering about? Does it follow you around? Does it keep standing in your least preferable way?  Are you frightened by knowing its weight? (5,000 to 14,000 lbs). Do you feed your elephant? (It eats roots, grasses, fruit and bark). It must be expensive and time consuming! Why do you think it's not leaving you? is the reason simply that it's too big to fit in the door? Or does it like you too? I know your attached to it. And it wont leave you unless you talk about it. Your elephant is likely to outlive you (it usually lives up to 70 years).  Im betting you didnt get your elephant when you were a child, cos kids talk about EVERYTHING (I should know. Im a teacher. NOT in english I should add LOL-ingly :P ).

They say... who are THEY anyway?!

They say that the African elephants are facing extinction. Thats prob cause our demand of them is so huge! I know you have one of these larger animals in your house somewere. You should find out witch colour it is... its the key to your problem.

The elephant in the room.

This brilliant idiom has been used since about 1915. (And no one have looked in to this "elephants disapparing from Africa -thing"? Seriously?! ;)
Im wishing you luck with your elephant. Just remember... elephants are not easily domesticated! (Personally Im sticking with my heffalump).

Tribute to Susan Lordi

I just Willow tree figurines!

Today I started making a book with drawings of my figures, their name and sentiments, and also the story behind me buying them/receiving them.

My plan, with this book, is to tell parts of my life stories with the help of Susan Lordis beautiful artwork.

Our new house will be decorated with these figurines, and our silly narrations :D

Allowing dreams to soar.

Newest addition to my collection.

Angel of freedom.

Willow Tree by Susan Lordi.
I think it's for the best that people go around thinking that bad stuff cant happen to them. Accidentes, diseases, heartbreak, pain = things we read about in the paper or see on TV. Most ppl are like that.

Blissfully stupid!

That might be for the best. Going around scared all the time, that's no way to go thru life! Right?!

But it does make me wonder... who's smarter? The person whose "safing it", or the person who risks getting hurt?

Being safe does not equals being happy.

Believing bad stuff can`t happen to you doesn't necessarily mean that it wont!

Are you willing to risk it all?!

Why are people hiding their feelings?

Ive always been controlled by my feelings.

I know I can be (over)dramatic :D

I laugh hard, and love fiercely.

Sometimes I shut out the ppl I love...

I feel too much, and think too much.

At least Im having the courage to feel!

It's weird how one song can change your entire mood.

Had a great day!! :)

I`m listening to "Te Amo" by Rihanna. Not paying any attention to the lyrics. The melody is incredibly sad. Makes me wanna crawl into bed and cry.
