Let`s face it. Most of the commercials on TV kinda suck. Sorry, but it`s true. Admit that you agree :) During my years as a TV watcher there have only been a few commercials I`ve actually liked... and they were truly GREAT. Good to know that some ppl in that line of work knows what they are doing :P
I can sometimes be quite critical, but a lot of these commercials deserve my verdict. Some are lousy, others even offensive, but most of them are just crap. Who comes up with these pathetic slogans and scripts? Who finds these actors? How... what... wow.
Excuse me, but commercial ppl, I think you guys have it in you. I believe you can make that superb commercial. That one who will make me smile, laugh or cry. Make us wanna show some sort of emotion, and if that`s not your goal. At least entertain us, or enlighten us, without making us use the mute button, or go get a snack in EVERY commercial break. Please!

Antoine de Saint Exupéry`s The Little Prince.
"The Little Prince" is seriously a work of art. I ♥ this book. I have three different copies of it, and they are all equally great. I use quotes from it quite often. The story is superb, and the illustrations are both creative and gorgeous. Thinking of making a tattoo out of some of it... somehow!
Some of my favorite quotes:
- “It is only with the heart that one can see rightly; what is essential is invisible to the eye”.
- “What makes the desert beautiful,” said the little prince, “is that somewhere it hides a well…”
- But the conceited man did not hear him. Conceited people never hear anything but praise.
- I have lived a great deal among grown-ups. I have seen them intimately, close at hand. And that hasn’t much improved my opinion of them.
By the way... You should read the pop up book. It`s pretty great!

Thoughts.
Getting a new passport comes with mixed feelings. I need it `cos I`m married now, and we are taking each other's names. So that`s a step forward, its romantic and kinda amazing. But its also the end of an era. My time as a world traveler - with a lot of stamps and visas in my passport - is ending. (...) I wanna keep traveling. It`s unbelievably important to me. Well... The super thing about it is that I finally can scrapbook with my passport. I can rip out pages, decorate -create!

Mark Twain.
“Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn’t do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines, sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.”
A moment in time.
House sitting this weekend. Decided to be useful and paint the walls around the entry and stairs. Did`nt really find anything to wear, so I ended up painting in my bra and this old, REALLY short, shorts I stopped wearing `cos, well I`m a teacher. It`s not appropriate is it? Found a latter, brushes, paint and an old boombox. Singing and dancing (AND PAINTING) from the latter. Sun shining. Birds chirping (I`m guessing... the music were pretty loud). Actually had fun. Then I got this weird feeling... Like I was being watched. I looked around, but could`nt see any one. I know from experience one should not ignore those feelings (call it intuition if you like). Then I had a movie moment. Clouds covered the sun, and it got kinda dark. Suddenly the music felt deafening, and I actually got scared! I`m not easily scared... or so I thought. LOL. Packed up my stuff and went inside. Guessing it was my imagination telling my body it does`nt like to paint.
