I think my dream catchers got confused somehow. No, I don't believe that dream catchers actually work, but the traditions/ideas of the dream catcher fascinates me. They were usually handmade. Based on a willow hoop with a woven net. Decorated with beads and feathers. They were (are) hung above beds. Used as protecting charms for children to keep bad dreams away. Now we use them for decorations... or mobiles for small children.
This is how they (supposedly) work:
Only good dreams are allowed to filter through. Bad dreams are trapped in the net during night, and will perish in the light of dawn.
I have three dream catchers in my bedroom. That might be the source of the problem. Perhaps they compete with each other? And the energy is interrupted somehow? You see, Ive been having some WEIRD dreams these last few months. No nightmares, but weird dreams even so. Most of them were amazing. Wish Id written them all down... Some would make great movies!
